Class 6: We had a great time!

Hello, all.

For today's class, we have several activities to work on. Let's begin by checking the goals for this class.

Objective: At the end of this class, students will be able to use past tense to retell stories about their life experiences with a correct pronunciation of the -ed ending.

Let's begin by reviewing how to form the simple past of regular verbs. Check out the following video.

Read and listen to the following conversation. Then practice with a partner.


Practice with a classmate. Answer the questions with your own information. (Switch roles.)

During this class, we are going to finish the worksheet we were working last class. Pay attention to the teacher's directions. But first, we are going to watch some flashcards with vocabulary related to places in the city.





Now, we are able to continue working with the worksheet.




Although cities have many advantages, they also have many disadvantages and problems. Let's watch some problems of one (if not the one) of the major cities in the world: New York City
